Students may have questions or concerns about their apartments, living situations, or other potential troubles. There are eleven Community Advocates (CAs) in the apartment area that can aid in many situations. These graduate students are trained to advocate for each student in the apartments, the RIT Inn & Conference Center and Greek Circle and will often assist in Campus Safety calls to help residents through the situation. In addition, they are resources for information on life at RIT.

Where are all the women? Did they disappear? During New Student Orientation, women students, faculty, and staff gathered for the “Lighting the Way†ceremony to welcome the incoming class of women at RIT. Approximately 350 new students and over 50 faculty and staff participated in this inaugural event.
[continue…]SECURITY NOTICE: Lock it or lose it
A dozen bikes have been stolen from RIT’s campus over the past three months. 10 of the reported thefts were of unsecured bikes. Most crime on campus is opportunist – in 2005, all reported thefts occurred in unlocked rooms. Make the small investment in a cable or U-lock and find your bike where you left it last!
