Battle of the Bands with Phi Kappa Tau

Founded in 1988 by our late brother Paul Newman, the Hole in the Wall Gang Camps (HITW) provides year-round activities for terminally ill children and their siblings at camps and in their own communities.  HITW comprises the world’s largest family of camps for children with serious illnesses.

CA Spotlight: Nice and Easy with Joelle!

Since her second year at RIT, Joelle Kirsch has been an active participant in Residence Life.  From her role as a Resident Assistant (RA), to a Peer Advocate (PA) at the RIT Inn, and now a Community Advocate (CA) for University Commons, Joelle has established herself as a leader amongst her peers and generously has used her time to create some successful programs for RIT residents.

Coming from SUNY Geneseo, Claire had a great college experience.  She is about to finish her first year in the School Psychology program which is also blessing her with an enjoyable experience here at RIT.  As a Community Advocate (CA) with the Center for Residence Life, Claire wants to extend the enjoyable experience to all residents.

Tim Wallenhorst epitomizes the definition and example of the leadership role.  As Vice-President of the Off-Campus and Apartment Student Association, also known as OCASA, Tim diligently works to see the organization maximize to its fullest potential.

Getting Greener at RIT

There are so many things we as college students can do to contribute to positive environmental change in our community. Composting is arguably the easiest option.  Instead of throwing your food scraps into the dumpster, toss them into a compost bin. That's pretty much all it takes.  And that's why I decided to start a compost project for Colony Manor.
