Recycling at RIT

The recycling program at RIT currently recycles over 700 tons a year diverting about 27.5% of our waste stream from landfill. As a community, RIT’s goal is to recycle 35% of our trash. Mediation at RIT

Jean Griffin is a friendly face with a wealth of knowledge when it comes to students involved in a dispute. Griffin heads the mediation services department, a process by which students, organizations, faculty or staff voluntarily meet with trained mediators to discuss ways in which problems or differences can be resolved.  [continue…]

Upcoming events

FRIDAY 12/8 - Chocolate on Ice returns this Friday - 11pm - 1am. December 8th, students can skate for free at Ritter Ice Arena with the donation of a non-perishable food item that benefits FoodLink, a Rochester area food redistribution center. Enjoy a variety of chocolate desserts and treats, while mingling with friends and playing games for chocolate prizes. Come join us! Wednesday 12/20 - Tour de Food:  Korean House!

Come join us on December 20th at 7 pm at Korean House for an amazing Korean buffet dinner consisting of BBQ beef and pork, along with vermicelli with veggies, miso stew, and other traditional side dishes.  Please RSVP and pay $7 by Friday, December 15th at the ResLife Apartment Area Office, located at 1 Colony Manor.
