President
rhapres@rit.edu
Colleen Kelly is a 4th year civil engineering student currently living on NRH 6. AFTER serving 2 years as RHA V.P., she is now RHA President. Colleen says, "I am pleased and very excitied to keep the ball rolling onward and upward."
Last year, the Frozen Four hockey tickets for a canned good became a hot commodity. Not to mention the office and video library makeover. She is still hoping to see further improvements in the Residence Halls and with RHA programming events.
Colleen says, "I am here to better represent the interest of students in the Residence Halls to the RIT administration." She would like to see more students partaking in the wonderful opportunities and events that RIT provides.

Jamie Post is a second year International Business and Marketing student from Horseheads, New York. She lives on the second floor of Fish C and this is her first year working with RHA. Connor Monahan
SIH Senator
cmm8391@rit.edu
Connor Monahan is a second year game design student from Mendham, NJ. This year is Connor's second year on Computer Science House, located on the third floor of Nathaniel Rochester Hall. His interests are board games, video games, bowling, martial arts, frisbee, and politics.
As Special Interest House (SIH) Senator, Connor's job is to advise the seven SIHs and represent their interests to RHA, student government and the rest of RIT. Connor's goals are to bolsterSIH applications to provide an influx of new energy into the SIH community. Additionally he wishes to see that the SIHs are a continued positive force in the RIT community, making the dorms an exciting place to live throughout the school year. If you are a member of a SIH or want to become a member, and you or your house of interest are having issues; Connor is the person to contact. He will help you out to the best of his ability.
Don't know what Special Interest Housing is? The SIHs are floors in the residence halls (NRH and Colby) shared by members with similar special interests. SIHs give students of all grade levels a large community of new friends and a social atmosphere where something's always going on, even if it's just going out to eat with your buddies. Each SIH have their own lounges and other facilities unique to their floor and special interest. SIHs also provide their members with leadership and educational opportunities outside the classroom. The SIHs are accepting new members throughout the year, so, if you're looking for more from your college experience, visit them and ask how you can become a member, too!

Brett Wilson
Marketing Director
bmw3857@rit.edu
Brett Wilson is a fifth year Film and Animation student and one of the veterans of RHA staff. Initially starting out as the graphic designer for the staff back in 2008, Brett returns as the marketing director this year, and is ready to make an impact with advertising. While his background may be in animation, he still tries to find creative ways to apply his knowledge of cartoons to his designs and methods of getting RHA known to the rest of the residential side community on campus. One of his stronger characteristics is his work ethic. He is always open to suggestions, and he’ll do what he can to ensure there are always satisfied customers with the services he provides to people through RHA, while at the same time keeping on top of the many duty a marketing coordinator deals with, which include advertisements (both digitally and physically), establishing relationships with residents, and finding new ways to raise awareness about our MajorStudent Organization (MSO).
Some of the accomplishments Brett has made during his experience at RHA include:
- Redesigning the logo to create a more modern and fresh look for RHA
- Repainting and redesigning the interior of the RHA office
- Starting a tradition of special BBQs (one per quarter)
- Strengthening relations between RHA and ResLife
Some of the goals Brett has planned this year include:
- Redesigning the RHA mural
- Completely phasing out/retiring the old RHA logo
- Successfully establish new or more diverse ways to advertise RHA events
- Replacing furniture in the RHA office
- Work with the Webmaster on creating a more efficient and appealing website for RHA
If you ever have questions on co-sponsoring events or advertising or anything design-related, feel free to contact me via my RIT email – bmw3857@rit.edu
