Routine medical evaluations and specialty care services (allergy injections, women's health care, psychiatric care, substance abuse counseling and health education) are provided by appointment. Appointments may be scheduled in person or by telephone at 475-2255 (V/TTY). The receptionist will ask the nature of the problem and possibly other questions in order to schedule your appointment appropriately. As always in the SHC, your information is confidential.

If you feel your health concern or problem is urgent, please let the receptionist know. She may have you speak with a nurse to determine if you need an immediate or same day appointment. If you have a preference for a male or female provider, or require a sign language interpreter, please let the receptionist know.

If you need to cancel your appointment, we would appreciate 24 hours notice so we can offer your appointment to someone else. If you fail to cancel your appointment, you will be charged a $50.00 no-show fee.

The SHC does not provide medical excuses for class absences. If you have missed class as the result of an illness:
