What Matters Most to Students

Student-to-Student Survey: The Division of Student Affairs administered a student written quality of experience survey covering broad themes in order to understand RIT’s strengths and challenges related to those topics that matter most to students. Over 4,000 students offered feedback on themes such as parking and dining, as well as some specific comments and ideas.

Students Speak Up

Student Government Sponsored Speak Up Day: Students completed brief department-specific surveys at tables set up across the university. This event offered direct feedback to participating departments from varying numbers of students.

Using Student Feedback

Closing the Loop: Student Affairs completed the “closing the loop” phase of this project. Departments were asked to describe how they have utilized student feedback gathered by multiple methods, including but not limited to, the Student to Student Survey, Speak Up Day, and surveys conducted at the department level.

Twenty-five departments participated in the “closing the loop” phase. To view changes, scroll through the departments page .
