TUTORING CENTERS

Tutoring Centers at RIT

This website serves as a clearinghouse for tutoring information on campus. In some cases, tutoring is offered by individual faculty members who help students who are having difficulty with their courses. Other tutoring is offered on a regular basis in various study centers on campus. These centers are as follows:

 
Academic Support Center  
ASC Writing Center
Location:Eastman, 01-2358
Function:Free Writing help available on a drop-in basis
Staff:ASC faculty (some skilled in sign)
Hours:Monday: 9:30am-12pm, 1pm - 6pm
Tue-Thu: 9:30am-12pm, 1pm-7pm
Friday: 9:30am-12pm, 1pm-2pm
The Writing Lab does not hire student tutors.

  • First-generation college student
  • Low income student (federal guidelines specified)
  • Student with documented disability, AND full time undergrad and US citizen or International student with green card
