Healthy Relationships Committee
This staff –advised, student -run committee was designed to educate the community about developing, maintaining and nurturing healthy relationships. In order to show what a healthy relationship looks like, this committee will also provide information about unhealthy relationships and brainstorm creative ways to achieve this goal.

Body Image Committee
This committee meets to discuss issues related to body image and its influences. We have planned programs and films for discussion, and have discussed relevant readings, related current events, and other relevant issues.

Socal Change and Community Service Committee
The mission of the Social Change and Community Service Committee is to educate ourselves about injustice and oppression both on a global level and locally. We meet weekly to discuss a common reading or current events. Twice a month the group participates in a volunteer service project that supports the needs of women and children in the Rochester area.
PEERS
Student Affairs PEERS Educators:
The mission of the Student Affairs PEERS program is to educate and enrich RIT students to develop healthier lifestyles by transforming ideas and knowledge into practice.
Student Affairs PEERS Educators:
- Provide education and community support with sensitivity to race, gender, culture, religion, and individual capabilities.
- Are trained to present specific programs, provide accurate information on campus services and community resources, and act as role models to the campus community.
PEERS Programs Include:
- Alcohol Awareness and Safe Sex
- Understanding Depression
- Strategies for Stopping Excessive Texting
