Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day
2009
“Building Partnerships to Educate & Empower”
The program intended for girls and boys ages 8 to 12, introduces participants to a vast range of potential job opportunities, while asking children to consider how their future work will fit into their overall lives. In past years, we have had great success with over 100 children participating in the day’s events. We would not have had such a successful day, if not for the departments that participated in the day and hosted events for the children. The event will be a day filled with different workshops for the children and their parents, and will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2009, from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.
