Energy Working Group
The Energy Working Group at RIT is committed to promoting research and education in alternative energy development, enhanced efficiency technologies and improved energy policymaking. These efforts will provide significant value to the RIT community, while also reducing global energy use and the Earth's carbon footprint. More »
P3 was founded by faculty and students in RIT's Kate Gleason College of Engineering. With focus on ‘P3’ philosophy (people, prosperity and the planet) the group works on advancement of sustainability “by increasing the level of awareness on all sustainability dimensions among students, so that they can later make a positive impact on our planet and society”. In April 2007, the group won first place from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for design of a solar oven for use in developing countries. More »
RIT Dubai's Sustainable Energy and Energy Efficiency Group
The activities of the group build on the Alternative Energy and Sustainability concentration of the Master of Engineering degree-program at the University, and focus on sustainability and energy efficiency aspects of interest in Dubai and the UAE. More »

The Journal of Environmental Sustainability (JES) is an open access green, peer reviewed, double blind, journal for the dissemination of both theoretical and applied topics in the domain of environmental sustainability. More »
The sustainability inventory was developed as a way to facilitate collaboration on sustainability related research – on and off campus.
