About Kelly

Freshman, Microelectronic Engineering

Freshman year of high school I wanted to stay active and get involved, so I decided on a whim to join the cross country team. Ever since the first day of practice, I have loved the sport. The desire to improve myself through running has fueled me to continue. It truly has shaped who I am as a person and positively influenced me in all other aspects of my life. The camaraderie between teammates and fellow runners is why I enjoy running so much. There's no other bond like that of teammates who have run miles and miles (both good and bad) together.

The Tiger Trial relay is an experience that I could not pass up. What better way to support the tigers than by running 1400 miles with my running family? I am excited to tackle this journey with my teammates and run fierce for wildlife conservation and women in athletics. I believe that the trip will be unforgettable and prove that my body is capable of much more than I ever could have imagined that first day of cross country practice.
