Early Pledges - Daily Prize Drawings

  • Drawings will be held daily at 4:00 p.m. on March 6th, 7th 10th – 14th.
  • Winners will be announced by email.

The earlier an online pledge submission is completed or a paper pledge form returned, the more chances there are to win! (No donation required)

*RIT is required to follow Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations regarding the taxable status of prize drawings. Therefore, this prize may be considered taxable, and Payroll will adjust your 2014 W-2 Form accordingly via an entry on the next available payroll called Taxable Gift Benefit and collect taxes if needed.

 

RIT Tiger Olympics Kickoff and Prize Auction

10 FREE game tickets and 1 FREE auction ticket with the completion of an online pledge submission or the return of a completed pledge form! (No donation required)

This event kicks off the campaign and will be held on Thursday, March 6th in the SAU Lobby and Fireside Lounge from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
 

Olympics:

Game winners will receive free tickets for the prize auction:

  • Gold level winners = 3 prize auction tickets
  • Silver level winners = 2 prize auction tickets
  • Bronze level winners = 1 prize ticket

Prize Auction:

  • Take a chance to win great prizes in the auction – 1 FREE ticket given to attendees who have completed an online submission or paper pledge form.
  • Extra tickets are $1.00 for one ticket or $5 for an arm’s length (20 tickets)!
  • Participants “bid” on prizes by placing tickets in the basket located in front of each item.
  • “Bidders” may buy as many tickets as they like and bid them on any item(s) they want by placing their tickets in the bowl in front of the item(s) they are trying to win.
  • At the end of the event, a winning ticket randomly is drawn from each bowl.
  • Prize winners will be notified via email on Friday, March 7th.

Don’t miss out! Enter to win! All proceeds will benefit the RIT United Way Campaign.

NOTE: If the winners are RIT employees or students, there will not be any tax implications since the auction is open to anyone attending the event and not contingent upon employment at RIT.

To qualify for entry into the drawing, an online pledge submission must be completed or a paper pledge form submitted by Noon on April 4th. (No donation required)

 

Gold Level:  Two Roundtrip United Airlines Tickets

Our thanks to RIT Finance & Administration for the donation.

  • The certificates are good on United Airlines and valid on flights within the US-48, Alaska, Canada, Mexico and Caribbean.
  • All travel must be completed by February 21, 2015.

Action Needed by Winner:
The value of the tickets will not be known until the flight is booked.

Silver Level:  Reserved Parking Permit for Academic Year 2014/15

  • The single lot permit is valued at $225 and may be chosen in any available parking lot with reserve parking.
  • The permit begins August 25, 2014 and is active until August of 2015.
