Director
Colleen comes from a long line of creative, interesting women. Her grandmother was an oil painter and one of the first women in the country to graduate from college. Her mother, an avid quilter, was a nurse and served as a sergeant in Korea during World War II.
Colleen has a unique and creative legacy all her own to share. She once owned an antiques store, was a volunteer firewoman, co-owned a grocery store, sold art at local festivals, and went to nursing school. She graduated from RIT with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, and has been creating publications for the university ever since. Colleen has also received her master’s degree in professional studies.
As the department’s director, Colleen provides a creative vision for University Publications and guides the design team in producing innovative work for our clients. She is the creative force behind RIT’s alumni magazine.
