Laura La Bella Cummings has worked as a writer and editor in advertising, development, and higher education for more than 10 years. In the University Publications Office at RIT, Laura takes the writing and editing lead on a number of projects, including the college viewbooks, brochures, and websites. Her biggest and most demanding responsibility is producing those quintessential composites of university life, the graduate and undergraduate bulletins.
When not churning out copy for RIT, Laura works as a freelance author. She has written more than a dozen non-fiction children’s books for Rosen Publishing. Her books focus on relevant social issues and exciting career paths.
Laura earned a BA in English and Communication/Journalism from St. John Fisher College and an MS degree in Professional Studies from RIT.
