Convocation 2007
RIT welcomed President Bill Clinton as Academic Convocation keynote speaker on May 25. The university also marks two milestones during its 122nd Commencement: RIT’s living-alumni population surpasses 100,000, as 3,500 undergraduate and graduate students—members of the Class of 2007—accept their diplomas May 25-26; and RIT President Albert Simone presides over his final Commencement. Simone retires June 30 following 15 years as RIT president.
Note: President Clinton’s speech begins 88 minutes into the video.
