Toyota, the leader in sales and the most profitable automobile company in the world, recruits at RIT three to four times a year for full-time and co-op positions. The company gave a $100,000 gift to RIT’s Toyota Production Systems Laboratory, located in the Kate Gleason College of Engineering. read more »

RIT’s Women in Engineering program is undergoing a major expansion. The group will unveil their hands-on training aids that use simple experiments and visual guides to teach engineering concepts. Cars were flipped, metal was twisted and endurance was tested at the 2007 Baja SAE Rochester World Challenge. Sponsored by the Society of Automotive Engineers, Baja SAE challenges students from universities around the world to build off-road vehicles for competition in design and endurance categories. read more »
