About the Story

"The Rage of Frankenstein" takes place during late October, 1932 in a small village in the Black Forest, and in an abdoned mill where Victor Frankenstein has created a private laboratory. The story is told in two acts with a 15-minute intermission, and runs approximately one hour and 40 minutes. NOTE TO PARENTS: this show features graphic special effects and scenes of intense violence. For mature audiences.

"The Rage of Frankenstein" explores the evils of Man playing God. Dr. Victor Frankenstein is obsessed with the idea of creating life. With the help of his assistant Igor, a creature is fashioned from the body parts of the recently deceased. Death and destruction soon follow in the wake of their nefarious experiment.

This play is a fantasy which has relevance in today's world of cloning and genetic engineering.
