Learning Disability Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Deafness

Deaf individuals with LD and ADHD benefit from many of the same classroom and learning environment accommodations as hearing children with LD and ADHD. Nevertheless, it is critical that professionals who have experience with the learning, social, linguistic, and cognitive consequences of deafness be involved in decisions regarding appropriate accommodations for a deaf individual. The following sites offer such professionals helpful resources for designing an appropriate program of accommodations for a deaf individual.
