Learning disability (LD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) occur in deaf children and adults at least as often as in hearing children. Identifying, evaluating, and providing dervices for deaf individuals with these disorders is regarded by teachers and other deafness professionals as crucial to their education, career, psychosocial, and life success.
