Office of the Registrar
Academic Records & Transcripts Address Changes ID Cards Registration Transfer Credit Forms F.A.Q.

The Office of the Registrar produces personalized identification cards using a computerized, digital photo image system. Students use ID cards to check out books and other materials from the library, access the athletic facilities in the Student Life Center, and are required for all student meal plans and debit accounts. The cards are activated within the RIT computer system each quarter once you have registered for courses.

Students can come to the Office of the Registrar after they have registered for classes to obtain their ID card (the first one is free!). There is a $5.00 replacement fee for lost or damaged ID cards.

The Card is accepted throughout the campus.
