EASI: Equal Access to Software and Information Banner

EASI is the Premiere Provider of Online Training
on Accessible Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities
reaching more than 4,000 people in over 3 dozen countries since 1993

EASI intends to create a resource here for information on distance learning and students with disabilities. We have just begun. We need your help. Norman Coombs, EASI's Chair has ben doing distance teaching since the early 1980s. EASI has been delivering distance workshops over half a dozen years to some 3,000 people in over 40 countries. This is a major interest for us.

If you know of useful resources to include, texts or web urls, please use the mail link below to submit them. Thanks.

California Community Colleges Guidelines on Distance Learning 1999

Below is a powerpoint slide presentation from a Talk given by Norman Coombs in Mississippi in September 1999. This will be replaced with an improved slide presentation that will be given at the FIPSE meeting Oct. 8. This may not play with all browsers. The pagedown key should work to change slides.
