Today, every college and university faces a financial gap between tuition and what it really costs to educate students in today's world. At RIT, the support we receive through our annual Fund for RIT campaign helps us bridge this gap.

The Fund for RIT is not a single account, but more like an "umbrella" that represents the many areas worthy of your support, such as:

• our colleges, their departments and academic programs
• scholarship funds – either a specific fund or RIT's general need-based fund
• the RIT Athletic Association, or your favorite RIT sport team
• The RIT Libraries, which includes Wallace Library, the RIT Archives, the Cary Graphic Arts Collection, the Graphic Design Archive, the Cary Graphic Arts Press and the Lawson Publishing Center.
• the Tiger Spirit Fund, dedicated to enhancing student life and other on-campus organizations
• RIT's Unrestricted Fund, a general fund that allows RIT to support the immediate needs of its annual operating fund as well as supplement the capital fund. Such support ensures that RIT will continue to offer students a safe, attractive environment, optimized for learning.
• RIT's Endowment Fund, a long-term investment fund that allows the Institute to provide a source of continuing financial support for the future.

The Fund for RIT continues a rich tradition of annual giving that has built, sustained and moved this university into the spotlight as one of the best in the nation.
