Spearheaded by President Destler’s $10,000 personal pledge to match – dollar-for-dollar – student gifts to any designation, our student giving initiative has exploded.
- More than 900 students have made a gift to RIT
- Raising over $31,000 for various student groups and organizations
A special thank you goes to the RIT administration and staff members who followed Dr. Destler’s lead. They also promised to personally match student gifts above and beyond the initial $10,000. Their giving ranged from $50 to $10,000 for a grand total of $35,000 available for student matching.
Remember – only $4,000 remains of the matching funds. You have until June 30th of this year to make a gift and have it count toward this year’s student giving program. To make a gift, complete this form and drop it off with your cash or check at the resource desk in front of the Student Government office in the SAU RITreat.
