The Packaging and Label Gravure Association Global (PLGA Global) is the leading packaging, label, and product printing/converting educational association for promoting the gravure printing process and educating its target audiences.
2008 PLGA Scholarship
AWARD: One (1) scholarship in the amount of $2,000 is awarded annually.
Applicant must be a sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student at the time the scholarship is awarded. A declared major in Printing, Graphic Arts, or Graphic Communications must be demonstrated.
Applicant must exhibit scholarly performance and demonstrate academic success in his or her studies. A GPA of 3.0 or greater (on a 4.0 scale) is required.
Applicant must demonstrate leadership development efforts through clubs or associations, sports, community participation, or volunteer activity.

2008 PLGA Internship Grant Program
AWARD: A maximum of ten (10) $1,000 Gravure Internship Grants will be awarded annually —$500 payable upon acceptance of the application and $500 payable upon verification of successful completion of the internship by the company and receipt of a report on the internship written by the intern.
Applicant must be a sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student at the time the scholarship is awarded. A declared major in Printing, Graphic Arts, or Graphic Communications must be demonstrated.
Applicant must exhibit scholarly performance and demonstrate academic success in his or her studies. A GPA of 3.0 or greater (on a 4.0 scale) is required.
Applicant must provide proof of acceptance into an internship program with a gravure-related company.

GEF Resouce Center Scholarships (RIT)

The Gravure Education Foundation (GEF), part of the Gravure Association of America, holds an annual scholarship competition for students interested in, or studying, the gravure process.
2008 GEF Scholarships
Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student at any one of the GEF-funded colleges or universities listed ion this Web site. This includes enrollment at either a GEF-designated Gravure Resource Center or Educational Partner Program.
