Symposium a Success!
Over 275 deaf education professionals, from 12 different countries met at NTID, June 23-27, 2003 for the Instructional Technology and Education of the Deaf Symposium. The program consisted of three plenary addresses, 42 formal presentations, 25 poster sessions, a recommendation report discussion, 13 commercial exhibits, two wonderful Taiko performances, and lots of time for conversation, sharing and networking. Additionally, 106 individuals attended 16 pre-conference workshops.
