FACULTY SALARY POLICY
1. Salary Notification
The salary for each faculty member is reviewed annually by the dean and other appropriate administrators within the college, the chief academic officer and the president and is specified in writing to the faculty member prior to the beginning of each academic year. (See Policy E7.0, on "Annual Review of Faculty.")
2. Pay Checks
Pay checks for faculty members are distributed to each faculty member semimonthly on the fifteenth and the last business day of each month (or the closet
Friday).
All faculty on ten-month contracts receive their pay over a twelve-month pay cycle. Checks for summer work may be paid the last pay period in June or July or
August and thus may overlap regular academic year salary checks. The number of checks and when they are paid depends upon the specific employment
conditions for the summer work.
