The Department of Chemistry at RIT offers a comprehensive scientific curriculum culminating in a B.S. degree with emphasis in chemistry, biochemistry, polymer chemistry and an environmental chemistry option.
The Department also offers an M.S. degree, which is offered to students as a part or full-time program of study.
Our faculty actively involve chemistry students in research projects, giving you the opportunity to have hands-on experience solving research problems. Our instrumentation for chemical analysis is state-of-the-art, and all students receive hands-on training on the use of the instrumentation.
