What is Kids on Campus?

Cool Projects! Awesome Technology! Two weeks of exciting workshops for students in 5th through 12th grade. Kids on Campus is all about cutting-edge topics involving computers, science, math, art, and technology. It's a chance to work in small teams, unleash creativity, and develop critical thinking skills.

Who belongs at Kids on Campus?

Kids on Campus is for students who love technology - workshops are specifically designed to capture the interest and imagination of students with high academic potential. Students actively participate in a rigorous, hands-on learning experience, and must be able to work well in a group setting. There should be no behavioral concerns that might negatively impact the group dynamic. Our registration form includes the following checkbox:

“My child performs well in school and there are no behavioral concerns that could impact on his/her ability to participate in a rigorous academic program.”

If you have any hesitation when checking that box, please contact us prior to registration. We're happy to work with you to ensure a smooth summer for all involved!

How does it work?

Kids on Campus offers two sessions during the month of July. You are welcome to chose one, the other, or both sessions. Each session is two weeks long and runs from 9 AM to 3 PM, daily, Monday through Friday. Students attend one workshop for the two-week session. Workshops are small groups, hands-on, project-oriented, and lots of fun!

Workshops have been developed for beginner through advanced learners and are offered at three grade levels: 5-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Grade level is determined by what grade you will enter in the fall. For a list of this summer's workshops, go to the Workshop page. To register, go to the Register page.

A Welcome Packet will be sent to all registrants at the end of June, and will contain important workshop, arrival, and departure information.
