Fulbright

Description:
The Non-U.S. Student Fulbright Program is designed to give master's and doctoral candidates, and developing professionals opportunities for international experience, personal enrichment and an open exchange of ideas with citizens of other nations.
The Fulbright Program supports educational exchanges that strengthen understanding and communication between the United States and over 140 countries.
Foreign students apply for Fulbright Fellowships through the bi-national Fulbright Commission or U.S. Embassies in their home countries.

The Ford Foundation

Description:
The Ford Foundation's International Fellowships Program (IFP) provides graduate level fellowships to exceptional non-U.S. nationals. Fellows will be selected based on their leadership potential, academic achievements, and commitment to social change. IFP encourages applicants from diverse social groups and communities who may not have access to higher education in their own countries.
LASPAU - Academic and Professional programs for the Americas (Latin America)

Description:
LASPAU is a nonprofit organization affiliated with Harvard University and governed by an independent, inter-American board of trustees. LASPAU designs, develops, and implements academic and professional programs to benefit the Americas.
A majority of the program's grantees study at the master's level; however, doctoral and non-degree study is also supported. After their studies in the United States, grantees resume teaching, research, and, in some cases, administrative positions at their home institutions, sharing the benefits of their educational experience.

Organization of American States (OAS)

Description: The Department of Human Development of the Organization of American States (OAS) administers one of the hemisphere's largest multinational fellowships and training programs. In recent years the Department of Human Development has provided several hundred fellowships for graduate studies and research

How to apply
Students applying for graduate study must have a four year baccalaureate degree,
or the U.S. equivalent from an accredited college or university (click
here for Bachelor degree equivalents for your country).
