E-Business

Program Overview

This certificate program was designed to meet the critical demand for professionals who understand how to do business using the World Wide Web. Students will learn e-Business design, implementation, and management. The focus of this certificate will be on the business-to-business sector, which today represents 74 percent of all e-Commerce transactions. This certificate is designed for students who have an associate degree or equivalent college credit and have completed a principles of marketing course or equivalent. The courses can be completed on a part-time basis via online learning or in the evening.

The E-business certificate is designed to create professionals who understand how to do business on the web. Graduates of the program will have a real grounding in the technologies, strategies, and tactics that make E-business initiatives successful.

  • 0112-310 Introduction to E-Business Technologies
  • 0105-445 Business to Business E-Commerce
  • 0112-510 Designing the E-Business Organization
  • 0105-440 Internet Marketing
  • Two Business Electives (Business electives require approval from academic adviser) 8 credit hours

    Admission Requirements

    Enrollment is open to anyone who meets the course prerequisites. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that he or she has the proper preparation to be able to succeed in the courses. Students are responsible for notifying the department when they have completed the requirements. Successful completion of a certificate requires a grade point average of 2.0 or greater.
