Degree/Certificate Program Enrollment Requirements
The Application for Undergraduate Part-time Study differs slightly from the (full-time) undergraduate application in recognition of the fact that many of our part-time learners have not been in high school or college for some time prior to their interest in RIT.
- If you have never attended college previously, we require a high school transcript or copy of your GED or other high school equivalency document.
- If you have earned more than 30 semester credits or 45 quarter credits of college credit, you are required to send college transcripts only.
- Records of work experience, military service, and other college-level education and training should also accompany your application.

Non refundable Application Fee
We require a $50 application fee for applicants other than RIT alumni. Send a check or money order (or submit credit card information) with the application for admission. Please do not send cash. Your check or money order should be made payable to Rochester Institute of Technology and drawn on a U.S. bank. Without this application fee, your application will not be processed.
