Part-time Study
Polymer Chemistry
Program Overview
It is estimated that 75 percent of all chemists work in the polymer field at some time during their professional career. This program provides a solid foundation in chemistry (general, biochemistry, analytical, instrumental, organic, physical, inorganic, polymer, and advance electives) mathematics, physics, liberal arts, and computer science. The curriculum satisfies all entry requirements for graduate programs in chemistry, materials science and engineering, and polymer chemistry. This program is one of the few through the United States at the baccalaureate level, and it is accredited by the American Chemical Society.
This program is available for full- or part-time students during both day and evening hours. The quarter system at RIT enables us to accept transfer students for entry four times during the year: September, December, March, and June.
