Part-time Study
Biochemistry
Program Overview
This program is ideal for students interested in medical or pharmaceutical research. It gives students a broad spectrum of chemistry (general, analytical, instrumental, organic, physical, biochemistry, and advanced electives), mathematics, physics, liberal arts, and computer science. Graduates may enter graduate or medical school, or begin professions in governmental, industrial, or academic research. A variation of the BS biochemistry degree is available, which follows guidelines formulated by the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).
This program is available for full- or part-time students during both day and evening hours. The quarter system at RIT enables us to accept transfer students for entry four times during the year: September, December, March, and June.
