Many
students are more concerned with grades than with what they
did or did not learn.
Some
students think that teachers should give them an education
rather than realizing that they must earn it. Education is
not a gift. Learning comes through dedication and hard work.
Learning
is not always fun; at times it can be frustrating and painful.
Whenever
presented with a new problem, the first thing students do
is to forget everything they have learned up to that point.
In
education, doing is more important than hearing or telling
about it.
Learning
is not an automatic response to teaching.
Basic
Design is a time bomb that goes off about five years after

can have either without having the other.
