Betsy serves as a liaison for women faculty across the campus and to help develop a support network for female faculty. She provides guidance and support to those who seek tenure or promotion at the broad university-level. In addition, she chairs the Council for the Representation & Engagement of Women Faculty (CREW). She is an Associate Professor in the Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering Technology in the College of Applied Science & Technology.
Goals as Faculty Associate: My goals as Faculty Associate are to identify and promote successful strategies for the career success of women faculty at RIT. These strategies are those that support recruitment, retention and advancement of women faculty. It is my goal that women faculty will feel more connected to each other and the RIT community through my efforts.
