Destination Intersession: January 5-23, 2015
Message from the Provost
Destination Intersession is right around the corner. Faculty Career Development Services in The Wallace Center has once again collaborated with partners across the university to provide sessions, workshops, and presentations to spark your creativity for the coming year. This year you will find exciting additions on a wealth of topics, including a day-long Publishing Symposium, a session on high-tech cheating, presentations and discussions on our deaf/hard-of-hearing culture, teaching with drones and other technologies, and much more. Browse through the many selections and get inspired by fresh ideas to re-energize your classroom and research activities all year long. View the Destination Intersession Schedule of Events here.
Take advantage of one or many professional development opportunities by attending a presentation, session, or workshop – or submitting a proposal for this year’s Tiger Talks Faculty Showcase to be held January 14. Your presentation at the showcase may be the inspiration a fellow colleague needs to launch a research project or experiment. Use this opportunity to invest in a wide variety of professional activities and stimulate your career.
