This one-day Global Behavioral Health Symposium will be dedicated to understanding the barriers that limit the underserved homeless individuals in our society. This symposium will contain presentations by RIT's College of Health Sciences and Technology (CHST) Clinical Psychology Interns, Postdoctoral Fellows and the St. Xavier’s-CHST Mumbai Scholars. These developing thought leaders will present on cultural applicability, the use of innovative digital tools and therapies as an attempt to bring best care practices to homeless clients in Mumbai, India and Upstate New York.

RIT is proud of the more than 5,000 international students studying at our campuses in Rochester, China, Croatia, Dubai, and Kosovo. This new collaboration with Mumbai, India opens the door for more collaborative projects between RIT and other Universities/Programs in Mumbai, India. The CHST-St Xavier Project in Mumbai, India allows a team of collaborators to engage with other cultures in an attempt to solve some of the world's biggest challenges within the field of Global Behavioral Health and the call for Global Citizenship.
