Study as an exchange student at our partner university in Luneberg, Germany while taking a range of coursework.

Leuphana University at Luneberg was granted university status in 1989 and merged with University of Applied Sciences North-East Lower Saxony in 2006. The university is known for sustainability, established as the first and only research department of sustainabiltiy in Europe. The university offers exchange students the flexibility to take coursework from any of its 13 academic majors and 16 minors. Several course modules are offered entirely in English, including International Business Administration & Entrepreneurship, Global Environmental and Sustainabilty Sciences, Digital Media, Psychology & Society. Additional coursework is available in German.

Located 30 miles south of Hamburg in northern Germany, Luneburg is well known for its historic Gothic architecture, culture, music, and fine arts. Nestled in a quiet section of Lower Saxony, the city offers multiple festivals, art exhibits, and entertainment events. For relaxation, you can take the train to the Baltic Sea, or the vacation resort town of Luneburger Heide.
