To secure your spot in the program you will pay a $1,000 non-refundable deposit to Rochester Institute of Technology (a study abroad advisor will send applicants details on paying the deposit through our secure website).
Cancellation/Refund Policy
If RIT must cancel the program before you depart due to unforeseen circumstances (travel restrictions, COVID-19, etc.), you will receive a full refund of the program fee and deposit. However, RIT cannot refund out-of-pocket expenses, such as your airline ticket. Please don’t make out-of-pocket financial commitments (i.e. purchasing your airline ticket) until your RIT study abroad advisor instructs you to do so. We recommend that you purchase refundable tickets and/or travel insurance.
