Rochester, NY —Graduate alumni were honored at the annual Graduate Alumni Awards Ceremony on Friday, preceding the President's Alumni Ball that took place during the evening. Honorees were Dr. Brittany Smith from the Golisano Institute of Sustainability, Katherine Engle from the College of Liberal Arts, and James Fugate from the Golisano Institute for Sustainability. Rochester, NY —Graduate students met with RIT President David C. Munson, Provost Ellen Granberg, and Associate Provost Twyla Cummings for an introductory fireside chat. The informal gathering allowed current masters and doctoral students to glean insights into the respective paths that led each to positions in academic leadership.

Rochester, NY —The Doctoral Student Association met at Lovin’ Cup yesterday for a Welcome Mixer. Incoming and current PhD students attended the social event to kick-off the start of the semester. Rochester, NY — Dean Twyla Cummings honors and congratulates photography and related media MFA student, Mireya Salinas, on being named the inaugural Outstanding Graduate Woman Achievement Award recipient. Dr. Cummings presented the award during the Women's Career Achievement Dinner hosted by the Center for Women and Gender. 

APRIL 1, 2019
Rochester, NY — Assistant Dean, Rauncie Ryan, announced the Graduate 3 Minute Presentation competition winners Monday afternoon. Diana Rodriguez Alberto from the PhD program in Sustainability was awarded First Place with Pritam Poddar from the PhD program in Engineering taking Second Place. In the Masters' category, Mosunmola Odulate from the Sustainable Engineering program finished in First Place as Gillian Griffin, from the Sustainable Systems program, is awarded Second Place.
