YOU WANT THE BEST FOR YOUR CHILD. AND SO DO WE.

That’s why our coordinators work hard to build a relationship with you and your child. Together, we’ll create a plan for graduation and beyond based on his or her interests, hopes, and educational needs. The result? You’ll see your son or daughter is excited to learn, focus on their education, and really think about the best steps for their future.

What does my child get out of it?

  • Tutoring in science, math, English, and SAT prep
  • Field trips to college campuses
  • Speaking sessions from professionals in Rochester’s hottest career fields
  • An extra boost from a tutor in science, math, English, or the SATs
  • Information sessions on vocational, technical, and apprenticeship programs
  • Educational, enriching summer programs

PARENT RESOURCES

MyChildsFuture.org The Partnership for Occupational and Career Information (POCI) undertook this project to deliver career information directly to parents like you in order to better address two of its goals.

One, improve parent access to information and planning resources that relate educational preparation to career goals and expectations. And two, equip teachers, administrators, and counselors with the knowledge and skills needed to assist parents with occupational information, career exploration, and educational opportunities and financing.
