Have you ever wanted to learn how to produce Electronic Music or EDM? In this workshop offered in collaboration with RIT Performing Arts, learn how to compose, synthesize, edit, mix, and even DJ electronic music tracks. You will learn how to: use a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW); create sample-based percussion tracks; layer basslines; design sound effects and ambience; create lead melodies and harmonies; synthesize pad and atmospheric sounds; add vocals or vocal effects; process tracks with EQ, compression, delay, and reverb. The workshop will also include an introduction to synthesizers, arranging, and mixing with Ableton Live. 2-week workshop. Cost $700.
