Wednesday, May 2, 2018

ROC the Project is a team competition designed to engage Rochester-area college students in the practice of project management and to develop their leadership skills. Student project teams were formed in January of this year and were provided with a real-life business challenge faced by Rochester-area organizations, for which they must provide a solution. Student project teams have been busy building their project plans with the support and help of mentors and will be presenting their solutions to a panel of executives on Saturday, May 5, 2018 in the University Gallery.  The winners receive a cash prize as well as the opportunity to participate in an exclusive career fair with local area businesses looking to hire project managers from all disciplines. RIT is proud to have sponsored three teams to the competition made up of both graduate and undergraduate students.
