Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Map

The Institutional Effectiveness Map (IE Map) (click here for a word template) was designed by the University Assessment Council (UAC) as a self-directed planning tool to help units, administrative offices, programs, and services assess outcomes and tie results to their planning and budgeting processes.

Each administrative unit will develop an Institutional Effectiveness Map using their existing strategic plans, scorecard, etc. The Office of Educational Effectiveness Assessment provides support and works with administrative units to complete their IE Maps. Maps should align to RIT's Strategic Results Area, Mission, and Goals as well as RIT's Inclusive Excellence Framework. Click here for a list of completed RIT Institutional Effectiveness Maps.

The IE Map Planning Guide provides guidance for completing the IE Map.
