Technology tools for creating effective videos
There are many options available for creating video content for your students. Teaching and Learning Services houses the TLS Media Studio, a facility where you can create different types of video materials.
Faculty may also obtain their own hardware and software to develop videos. The products listed here are not recommendations, but are examples of products other faculty have found useful.
Computer or tablet
The Camtasia Studio System Requirements are good guidelines for computer system requirements that will meet most video production needs.
- Built-in computer webcam

Use a quality USB digital podcasting or headset microphone such as:
- Wacom® Intuos® Pen for text and illustrations
