Haydn String Quartet series continues in Waterloo, Ontario

The Attacca String Quartet will present its second weekend of Haydn's 68, a series of concert performances of the complete string quartets of Joseph Haydn, Friday–Sunday, Feb. 7–9, at the Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Music Society Music Room, 57 Young Street W. in Waterloo.

Handel and Haydn Society kicks off 199th season

Boston's Handel and Haydn Society is this country's oldest oratorio society, and an institutional member of the Haydn Society of North America. I had the great pleasure of hearing them perform J.S. Bach’s Mass in B minor on Sunday, Sept. 29, inaugurating their 199th season.

Call for Papers: SECM/HSNA 2014 at Bethlehem, Penn.

The Society for Eighteenth-Century Music will hold its sixth biennial conference, together with the Haydn Society of North America, at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Penn., 28 February 28 to 2 March, 2014. The SECM welcomes proposals for papers and other presentations on any aspect of music in the eighteenth century, and seeks to incorporate a variety of presentation types.

Society for Eighteenth-Century Music 2014 Meeting with the HSNA

The Society for Eighteenth-Century Music recently announced that their sixth biennial conference will be held in historic Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, from 28 February to 2 March, 2014. The conference will be co-sponsored by the Haydn Society of North America and hosted by Moravian College, with support from Kutztown University.

Two new articles by Michael Lorenz

Michael Lorenz has called the Society's attention to two recent articles of interest to members of the HSNA. About the first we writes:
