Call for articles for the Fall and Spring issues of HAYDN: Online Journal of the Haydn Society of North America

Call for submissions for the fall and spring issues of HAYDN: Online Journal of the Haydn Society of North America (haydnjournal.org).

HAYDN: Online Journal of the Haydn Society of North America is accepting submissions for the fall 2015 and spring 2016 issues. This online, peer-reviewed journal, published by RIT Press, has many features that are advantageous to effectively disseminating music scholarship, including convenient and interactive color and b/w visual figures, linked and embedded audio and video examples, and links to publications and recordings. Also, articles from past issues are continuously available to subscribers. Our readership continues to grow, particularly through college/university library and other institutional subscriptions that allow multiple readers to access the journal. Categories of items included in each issue— Major Articles Short Essays and Works in Progress Approaches to Performance Rediscovered and Important Documents Reviews of CDs, books, and videos.

The fall issue (5.2) is open to any eighteenth-century music topic, and the spring 2016 issue (6.1), edited by Mary Sue Morrow, is dedicated to Haydn and Pedagogy.
