| | College of Liberal Arts Alumnus Promoted to Four-star General In August, U.S. Army Gen. Stephen R. Lyons ’83 (COLA) was named the 13th commander of the U.S. Transportation Command at Scott Air Force Base (St. Clair County, Ill.). Lyons was promoted to the rank of four-star general before he was confirmed as commander. He is the first Army officer in the role. |
