Silicon Valley Tigers Trade Code for Chords at Techapella
Silicon Valley’s top tech companies have been competing for more than followers. This fall tech giants will compete for the sixth year at the annual Techapella a capella competition. RIT alumnus Remy Decausemaker ’08, ’13 (CAST) is an open source program manager at Twitter and a member of the Songbirds a capella group. Remy also appeared on a “Today” show feature on Techapella last December—see the clip below.

RIT Will Be Well Represented at Upcoming Digital Rochester Tech Awards Ceremony
Austin McChord '09 (CAST), Burton August (RIT trustee emeritus), Robert Mostyn (Digital Games Hub Coordinator for RIT's Center for Media, Arts, Games, Interaction and Creativity), and Suzanne Piotrowski '95 (SCE) will be recognized at the 2018 Greater Rochester Excellence and Achievement in Technology Awards on September 26, 2018, as Rochester-area leaders in innovation and technology.

RIT Tiger Designs Bottle Label for Three Heads Brewing
David Moffitt ’07 (CIAS) didn’t even like beer when he first came to RIT. Now he has designed the label for a special RIT-themed beer brewed by Three Heads Brewing called Tiger Blood India Pale Ale.

Two RIT Colleges Offer Joint Theater Season in 2018
RIT’s upcoming theater season will feature a full year of collaboration between the College of Liberal Arts (COLA) theater arts program and NTID’s performing arts program. Together, the two programs will offer numerous plays from a wide range of theater genres and styles. All productions will include deaf and hearing talent and crew members.
