Update on Convocation - Classes of 2020 and 2021

Convocation and commencement ceremonies will be held May 7-8 for the Class of 2021, and RIT’s current plan is to host the Class of 2020 at a separate ceremony at a date that would follow May 7-8. Alumni from the Class of 2020 will be notified when the provost's office makes the determination for your planning purposes.

Introducing the RIT Alumni Referral Award which allows alumni to refer one student applying for undergraduate admission to RIT for a $1,000 per year award for four years of study. 

Each alum can refer one undergraduate applicant per year for this award.

Frederick Douglass Sculpture Unveiling and RIT Flag Project

Join other Tigers via livestream for a historic moment in RIT history: the unveiling of the Frederick Douglass sculpture in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Black Awareness Coordinating Committee (BACC) and the RIT Flag Project, that welcomes the addition of three flags—the Black Lives Matter flag, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy flag, and the Sign Union flag.

The event will be interpreted. It will be recorded and available at a later date for viewing.

This professional development program is built for someone who will commit 40 hours per week for 15 weeks as they transition to a new career. This is not for someone who has an extensive IT or coding background. You bring the hard work and you leave with critical skills that will help you land an entry level cybersecurity position. Applications must be completed by October 15.
